General Meeting Sunday, March 28, 11:00 a.m. Spring has...Tilted? Vernal Equinox Party To be absolutely, scientifically correct, spring is not when the sun returns, it’s when we in the Northern Hemisphere turns toward the sun, and the best way to do that is a party. AU’s Vernal Equinox Party at the March meeting, on the 28th, will feature Ingemar Hulthage’s popular game, Blingo, where contestants play a Bingo-like game by lining up the quotes on their cards. Child care is available === Our Hollywood meeting at the Center for Inquiry is the center of our organization, where we bring in the biggest speakers in the area and host our arts forums and parties. It's always held the 4th Sunday of each month, 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m, at the Center for Inquiry - Los Angeles, 4773 Hollywood Blvd. Our annual schedule: Jan / Apr / Jul / Oct: Feed your mind! Educational presentation. Feb / May / Aug / Nov: Arts Showcase! Movie / Music / Poetry / etc. Mar / Jun / Sep / Dec: Equinox/Solstice Party Month! Come down and have some fun with fellow atheists! Child care is always available! All meetings followed by a lunch, where you can come and enjoy good food and good conversation, and usually even speak to the guest presenter one-on-one. After lunch, we host our ever-popular "Sound-OFF!" open-mike where you can listen (or even participate yourself!) to hear what our members think about anything and everything.
