Atheists United offers free memberships to students.  We understand that young people don't always have the opportunity to express doubts about religion in their home or school environment and this can be particularly isolating.  We hope that student members will find their own voice by blogging on the Shout Out Blog and be able to express themselves positively and connect with those who understand them on the Internet and at our chapter meetings. 

Those with student memberships will receive Rational Alternative, AU's monthly newsletter, as an e-mail attachment in PDF format.

We encourage all students to check out the Secular Student Alliance and consider getting involved with an local SSA affiliate or start their own SSA chapter in addition to membership with AU.

In order to be eliglible for a free student membership to Atheists United, a person must:
1) Be under the age of 22
2) Be currently enrolled as a full time student in a K-8 School, high school, college, university or trade school
