Join us for a fun game of charades and good food!
We’re going to play charades during our annual Winter Solstice party. We’ll divide into teams and one person from each team will take the stage, draw a slip from the basket and mime clues to popular books, movies, songs, plays, quotations, or famous persons, living or dead.
The object is for the team to guess the title, quotation or name within the allotted time. Things get wild as the teammates shout out their guesses and the actor struggles to act out the perfect clue.
It should be lots of fun so we hope you’ll come out to play. Of course, everyone is welcome to join the party, even if you don’t want to play charades.
After the game we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch that’s being specially prepared for the Winter Solstice party.
Families with children are welcome to join our events. This month, it’s all about fun for the kids so bring them along and join us for a great event!
We’re collecting toys for needy children. Please consider donating a toy that’ll be distributed by Echo Parenting and Education to children in need. This center is devoted to cooperative, nonviolent parenting, so please don’t bring guns or aggressive toys.
If you are unable to bring a toy but would like to support Atheists United’s efforts to bring joy to children, please make a donation here https://atheistsunited.org/donate
This meeting is free and open to the public.
A complimentary lunch is provided after the talk. We’ll get a chance to meet, talk and get to know one another.
Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the building.
About 80-100 people attend our meetings so you’re sure to have a good time and meet lots of new people.
