Camp Quest is a week long sleepaway summer camp designed for children (ages 8-17) from non-religious families: atheists, humanists, agnostics, freethinkers and others with a naturalistic world view. The camp has traditional activities (like swimming, star gazing, arts and crafts, and archery) along with freethinking, skeptic-based, science, and Humanism activities. It’s a blend of world-class science and critical thinking games with the traditional all-American outdoor camp experience.
It’s their second year in the Los Angeles area and they’ve already moved to a bigger location. That means even more kids can participate. Atheists United is helping Camp Quest raise money for families who can’t afford the full cost of sending their child to camp. We believe that an experience like this is invaluable for a child growing up. Please help us by donating money directly to Camp Quest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Every dollar raised will help a family that cannot afford to send their child to camp.
Our goal is to raise enough money to send 4 children to camp, that’s $1,988. Please help us share this amazing experience with more children.
