Special Event: Leo Igwe – Founder of the Nigerian Humanist Movement and the Nigerian Skeptics Society

Human rights advocate Leo Igwe is back to give another powerful talk on Sunday, July 7th at 3 pm!

Leo Igwe has been beaten, arrested on trumped up charges, forced to watch his family mutilated and has suffered innumerable more minor hardships as a “reward” for his work on behalf of the children of Africa.

During his last visit we heard how thugs, employed by Helen Ukpabio, follow him to oppose, sometimes violently, his defense of the children she has sentenced to loneliness, starvation, and sometimes death by labeling them witches. Now Leo is coming back to share even more about the work he’s been doing in Africa as the founder of the Nigerian Humanist Movement and the Nigerian Skeptics Society.

Join us on Sunday, July 7th at 3pm for another powerful talk by Leo Igwe.

This meeting is free and open to the public. As a non-profit organization, we rely on your donations to provide these great meetings. The meetings costs about $10/person to run. If you are able to, please contribute online or at the meeting.
