A lifelong skeptic and atheist, Ian returned to the stage in 2011 with a fresh new take on comedy and a goal to deliver a well-crafted, passion-filled, ‘rationalism’-based show, designed to skewer modern society’s commonly held belief systems.
His latest masterpiece, a 70- minute comedy special entitled “Ian Harris: Critical & Thinking” delivers just that. Look for it to air in 2013. His remarkable talent has resulted in Ian being one of the top Voice Over artists in Hollywood. He has provided the voice to clients such as DirecTV, Bravo, Fuel, Lays and Full Tilt Poker. Ian also narrated the music driven show “Mad Gen- ius” on Fuse TV and can often be seen and heard in sketches on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Ian is also a regular contributing writer for US Weekly and HaHaJK.com. He re- sides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter and splits his time between comedy, writing and producing.
Our annual “Thank-A-Farmer Food Drive” ends with this meeting. We will be collecting canned goods and cash for grocery gift certificates. These donations will be dis- tributed to farm workers around Thanksgiving. Please give what you can. This food drive is supplemented by a gener- ous grant from the Riseman Foundation.
A complimentary lunch is provided after the talk. We’ll get a chance to meet, talk and get to know one another.
This meeting is free and open to the public. We rely on donations to keep it that way. The monthly meeting costs about $10/person to run. If you are able to, please contribute online or at the meeting.
Children are welcome to join our AU Kids program. The children have another area where they play and learn during the main event. Parents are free to attend the main event or stay with their children during the meeting. After the main event, we all come together for lunch.
Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the building.
About 80-100 people attend our meetings so you’re sure to have a good time and meet lots of new people.
