Chaplains in the work place?

In response to an article by a rabbi who thinks that tech companies (Silicon Valley) need to hire chaplains– the source of moral reasoning, Atheists United notes that the Rabbi failed to cite the success of chaplains in the country’s oldest workplace : RJ Reynolds Tobacco.  RJ Reynolds has had the program since 1949. Perhaps the chaplains there, over the years, helped the employees deal with their feelings of guilt over the deaths they caused and the lies they told.

If Silicon Valley needs to provide on-the job counseling, they should hire trained psychologists and social workers.
