Skipping Church: Raising Secular Children in a Religious Town

Join our May meeting for an exciting presentation by local leader Jill Braun on the unique experience of raising secular children in a religious town!

Jill Braun (pronounced BROWN) is the ninth out of ten children, born into a Catholic Family and was raised on a hog farm in the Midwest. After high school, she graduated from university with a degree in Theatre.

Jill has lived and worked in several states and countries performing a variety of jobs including a tour guide in Alaska and a refugee resettlement worker in Nairobi, Kenya. In 2014, Jill moved with her husband and two boys to Redlands, California.

Today she works as a Professional Organizer and Directs the school plays at a public school in Redlands. She also is a private ESL instructor and is a member of the Redlands Festival Singers, a secular choir in Redlands.
