How to Combat Religious Child Maltreatment

Atheists United is thrilled to host another incredible speaker for our 4th Sunday Speaker Series!

Sarah Henry is the Executive Director of the Child-Friendly Faith Project, working to end religious child maltreatment and support adult survivors of child abuse and neglect. She has previously worked in communications and media relations at the American Humanist Association and as the Founder of Henry Consulting, LLC.

Sarah grew up in a rural town in southern Indiana where she was a student activist, before bouncing to Washington, DC and landing in Orlando, FL, where she currently resides. Sarah holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.P.A. with a focus in Nonprofit Management.
