Dog Policy

Dogs are not welcome at Atheists United events unless noted in the event description, or if an event organizer gave explicit permission.

The following policy is for events where dogs are welcome:

Safety & Etiquette:

• Dogs must be on a leash at all times

• Dogs must be friendly and non-aggressive to humans and other dogs

• Dogs must be non-disruptive of the event

• Dogs must be updated on vaccinations 

Owner Responsibilities:

• Owners must cleanup all pet waste (and bringing their own poop bags)

• Owners must bring water and water bowls

• Owners must bring necessary dog food and snacks

Event Organizers

• Event organizers can remove dogs and their owners from events at their discretion

• Event organizers can make stricter expectations for specific events

Service Animals

• We welcome service animals in all venues that allow and follow all local, state, and national laws relating to them
