Atheists United Announces $1,000 Secular Student Scholarship

LOS ANGELES — Atheists United has partnered with Humanist Association of Orange County to sponsor a $1,000 Secular Student Alliance scholarship for a student in Southern California.

The Secular Student Alliance offers scholarships to student activists who demonstrate secular values in their personal lives, on their campus, and in their community. Applicants are asked to complete a six question survey by August 31st and become free-student-members of the Secular Student Alliance.

“As a former secular student leader myself I can’t think of a greater organization or cause to help us grow the secular movement",” said Atheists United Executive Director Evan Clark. “Student leader are not simply the future of our movement, they are the front line leaders of today.”

Student must be active full-time students to apply.
