Second Annual Atheist Adventure a Smashing Success

In November 2022, Atheists United organized a weekend of unique desert camping, epic hiking, and breathtaking sunsets. Over 20 people participated in our Anza-Borrego Atheist Adventure with special guest The Groovy Geologist.

Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is the largest state park in the lower 48 states and is internationally famous for its extraordinary views, majestic wildflowers blooms, and unique natural wonders. We visited slot canyons, natural palm oases, cactus groves, and unforgettable sunsets.

We also hosted a unique sunset “rock talk” at sunset overlook Sunset Mountain with the Groovy Geoligst.
