L.A. wildfire disaster response

Los Angeles area is currently facing multiple wildfires fueled by strong winds and dry conditions.

A fire in the Palisades has led to mandatory evacuations for about 30,000. Another fire near Pasadena has grown to over 10,000 acres, resulting in fatalities and numerous injuries. Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency.

Atheists United is responding by opening its offices as a temporary shelter and donation site.
